This often occurs when the BIOS is unable to detect a bootable operating system or when the boot order is incorrect.

1) Check Boot Order:

Access your BIOS setup by pressing a specific key during boot (commonly F2, Del, or Esc).
Look for the "Boot Order" or "Boot Priority" settings.
Ensure that your Windows boot drive (usually an SSD or HDD) is listed first in the boot order.

2) Verify Boot Device:

While in the BIOS setup, check if your Windows boot drive is correctly detected.
Look for options like "SATA Configuration" or "Storage Devices" to confirm that your drive is visible and enabled.

3) Disable Fast Boot (if applicable):

Fast Boot can sometimes interfere with boot processes. Try disabling it in the BIOS settings.
Reinstall Windows (if necessary):

If the above steps don't resolve the issue, you might need to reinstall Windows. This can be done from a Windows installation media (USB or DVD).

Additional Considerations:

1) BIOS Version:

Ensure you're using the latest BIOS version for your motherboard. Outdated BIOS can sometimes cause compatibility issues.

2) Hardware Changes:

If you've recently added or removed hardware components, check if they're compatible and configured correctly.

3) BIOS Reset:

As a last resort, you could try resetting the BIOS to its default settings. However, be cautious as this will erase any custom settings you've made.

fixing this in windows was the solution. Putting the setting to wait for operating system to 0 got rid of the screen.

Additionally, for some reason I am not able to view/change the boot order in the BIOS. It's greyed out...
