x570 Prime compatible with Ryzen 5000 out of the box?

I just picked this board and I completely forgot that it may not work with ryzen 5000 without a bios update. This is a brand new board, so I'm wondering if there's a way to tell what bios is installed by the serial or some other identifier.

I'd prefer not to have to build the whole system just to realize I need an older cpu just to flash the bios.

Hello,

The board should likely POST fine, however, if a concern one can either pick a board with USB Flashback functionality, or ask a system integrator to flash the BIOS for them prior or after purchase.
