X570-E Gaming video issues updating BIOS 5003 and 5013

Hi everybody.

I like to share my recent experience updating BIOS from 4802 to 5013 and 5003, without success.

In 4802 BIOS everything was fine, but it was a 1 year old version and i wanted to see the brand new 50XX asus bios.

After updated to 5013, the HDMI signal where lost everytime while gaming. Never happened in non-graphical use, just gaming.

The problem was like common black screen when video signal is lost. In this state, the fans keep 100% working, hdd lights are on, and system wasn't in a fatal error state yet. Anyway, at this point i always needed to manually restart because i can't see anything on monitor or tv. PC always restarted normally.

I don't use Ryzen Chip OC so my BIOS configuration is basically to set D.O.C.P. (for DRAM auto settings) and HDDs boot. I tried to play tricks lowering temps, with gigabyte 3070 aourus engine, negative OC with Ryzen Master, etc., but nothing fixed it.

Then i tried BIOS 5003 as a "partial" roll back test. I had the same problem, with no difference. Time to roll back to 4802.

Once back in 4802 everything was fine again.

Hope it helps if someone has the same problem. Peace.

My specs:

ROG Strix X570-E Gaming, Ryzen7 5800X 4.7GHz, 2x16GB RAM DDR4 3600 Corsair Vengeance, Gigabyte RTX 3070 GAMING OC 8G (rev. 2.0) with premium HDMI cable.
