X570 E Gaming Bios - every bios severe mouse lag

Why is this a thing, noticed it in every version? Surely it doesn't require much computing power to move a mouse cursor in a bios? Keyboard fine btw...

Have you tried a different mouse? Hardware support is much more limited than in Windows. It only has a very basic generic pointing device driver which might not perform well with specific mice.

Yeah, all terrible all three I have tried. Surely others have noticed this? I just have to click through but it is considerably slower. First world problems yes, but odd.

I've had this happen in the past.
It was caused by having a USB storage device plugged in near the USB mouse dongle.

Thanks. It seems since both updating the BIos and chipset this problem has suddenly fixed itself. But it's been there through every other bios I updated to. Oh well, at least it is good now.
