Recently did a BIOS update (5002) to swap my 3700x out for a 5800x3d. After update I was able to use my computer as normal with the 3700x installed. Put the 5800x3d in and it goes into the BIOS fine but can't make it past that and throws a q code of b1. I've tried everything I can think of.
Cleared CMOS. Tried BIOS version 4006 instead. Created a bootable USB drive with Windows 11 and set that to boot priority. Took out all SSDs so only USB was available. Tried taking my RAM out and tested each stick in each dimm slot. Failure to make it to Windows each time.
At one point I was getting a message of "Preparing Automatic Repair" and it would freeze. Now I'm just getting the ROG logo and a single white dot on screen. Not really sure what to do next.
