X570 Crossfire VIII BIOS 3003 5900X RAM compatibility

I made a mistake and bought the wrong ram kit for my build, I believe.*CMW32GX4M4D3600C18 is what I have.

I ideally want to keep the ‘unicorn barf’ esthetic, do I need to return my current kit and get a ‘Ryzen supported’ one?

I believe 4 sticks of 8gb give nominal performance, over two sticks, from testing I saw online.*

I did the samething, same ram with my 5950x in a Hero VIII. i think that speed using all 4 dimms really does stress the memory controller.
if you want 32GB of ram at that speed, then 2x16GB is Ryzen optimised

i was having crashes in games even just enabling DOCP. My solution was to enable DOCP, but then set the RAM speed to 3400Mhz and the Fclk to 1700 (so basically knock 200Mhz of the speed) and i have had no probs since. so you could either try that, get the 2x16GB set or the 3200Mhz 4x8GB is Ryzen optimised

What you saw online was Dual rank (DR) ram outperforming Single Rank (SR) Ram modules. You can get 2x16 DR modules. While 4x8 SR provides DR.
4x8 Samsung B-die would be the best bet if going that configuration however as mentioned less stress and easier to just get 2x16 DR modules at lowest CL 14 or 16 at highest speed DDR4@3200-3600 (3800 max) you're willing to pay for and simply run that.

I confirm that I have 4x8Gb b-die and they work at 1900fclk (3800Mhz) on a C8F with the exact settings as suggested by the Ryzen DRAM Calculator, no crashes or anything.

i have 128gb at 3600mhz a hyper kit x 4 32gb banks on crosshair hero viiia 3600mhz i have random reboots how long should i make them work to have a stable system? I also tried 3400 mhz but the system is always unstable ..

The only way I got my 64gigs (4x16) stable on my 3900x at 3200mhz was SOC Voltage at 1.2 (Tried SOC 1.1v first but I needed more) and Ram Voltage at 1.45-1.5 (Depending on your timings) Anything lower would randomly reboot or not post...
