BIOS 7704 FINALLY fixed my crazy temps for my C6H, I used to get + 85c CB20/Realbench stresstests at stock 3700x/280mm AIO cooler, 95c at Prime95 at stock 3700X. Now it's in the 72-75c range, right where my Ryzen 1700 OC'd was at. Prime 95 maxxes at 85c with 7704.

It took 6 months before this was fixed, not a peep from ASUS acknowledging the issue. 😠

Still, I'm happy it's fixed, plus I'm happy that I trusted my gut feeling that it was the BIOS in the end.

About issues with 1.0.0.4B and PCI, black screen, not booting etc. Creative has confirmed on their official reddit thread here. go to stage 7 in the post https://www.reddit.com/r/SoundBlasterOfficial/comments/ehrs5r/updates_and_status_thread_1230/

Hi there, just want to know if someone else has problems with CH7H and BIOS 3004 when awakening the system from sleep.
If I set my ram @3600 CAS 14 (100% stable under any memory stress test), the first thing I do (like just open the browser) makes the PC crash into a BSOD.
Happens rarely if I set the RAM with D.O.C.P. profile, disappear if I leave the RAM to Auto (sets @2300).
In other forum someone states it's a bug tha came with 2901 and 3004 BIOS… I'm experiencing it with the latest release.
The advice is to disable hibernation, I'm monitoring it.

Had the issue ever since the release of this board. No matter the BIOS version.
Do you have GDM on or off?

GDM stands for Gear Down Mode?
If so, I used to keep it on Disable when I set the RAM @3600 CAS 14.
Now with the D.O.C.P. profile I didn't touch it, so I assume it's on Auto.

hope asus can optimise C6H bios for zen 2 memory oc, as the mobo is having some issue running memory speed higher than 3600MHz.

with memory at 3733MHz (FCLK 1866) and 3800MHz (FCLK 1900), the system will just reboot itself or crash during stress test like gsat and hci. But cinebench r20 is ok, can run in loop without crashing.

only 3600MHz (FCLK 1800) is fully stable.

Greetings, friends! If anything, forgive me for my English. I use the ASUS Crosshair VII motherboard with Risen 2600 (4100), 16GB (8x2) G skill Ripjaws VF4-3200 C 16-8GVKB (overclocking 3600mhz) - all tests pass without errors and failures, the BIOS is the last one. Already from the moment of purchase, there is a problem with double starts, as well as long loading of the POST, that is, it takes about 15 seconds before the speaker gives a signal about the passage of the POST. Who had this and how did they solve the problem? Or just forget about it. I also tried to overclock the memory to a frequency of 3800 using the DRAM Risen calculator, but TM5 tests with 1 usmus settings gave errors, and I couldn't find the right settings myself. Memory on Hynix CJR chips.

I believe your memory issue is the Hynix chips. I also have memory (3200) made with Hynix they are unstable past XMP for me. Now with the FlareX 3200 it OC's to 3600 with ease. But that is Samsung B die memory with CAS 14 timings. I just bumped it up to CAS 16 for stability. I am sure I could do 3800 with CAS 18 timings but why bother? 3600 is as close to the sweet spot as needed for everyday use. Besides in three years or less our systems will have another cpu upgrade be it Zen 3 or 4.
