X370 motherboard availability

It is more than disappointing how globally unavailable X370 motherboards have been since Ryzen's launch -- from every board manufacturer, including ASUS -- I've been waiting 3 weeks myself for the Hero, with still no sign of a ship date from Amazon. Has there been any statement from ASUS on reasons for this delay? Thanks.

From what I've been hearing from people who got them, it seems like when they do come into stock places like Newegg, they're selling out again within the hour.

I waited two weeks to find one in stock somewhere after getting all of my other parts in the mail, and then ended up driving 2.5 hours to a Micro-center to pick one up.

....looking back, I should have bought the other one they had too, kept it on hand for the possibility of RMA issues. And then ebayed the thing if I didn't need it. lol

They're in stock on Newegg as I'm typing this. First time I've seen that. "3 New from $254.99"

My CH6 actually arrived on schedule today, along with a Ryzen 7 1700, both from Newegg, now I just need to be patient until Tuesday for the rest of the components for the build to arrive 😉

I know several people here in Az that drove to SoCal Micro Center to get their boards lol.
