I recently updated to 16299.15 Fall Creators Update and I can't install properly Asus Aura, it says AsIO not found. It installs the software but GSKILL and Motherboard led options are not there. Only my Asus Strix 1080ti.

What can I do to solve this problem?

Thanks!

Got zero issues here with Aura on Falls Creators update. AI suite did break though and i can't fix that in any way. Waiting for Asus to release a new working version.

Ai suite is useless anyway. Set your fan curves in the BIOS and toss AI suite in the trash where it belongs.

yes - I support that opinion. Use the BIOS for the fans - one crappy tool less 🙂

I've just completed my new build with a Maximus X Formula and a 8700K and 32GB G.Skill trident Z RGB ram.

Did a fresh install of Windows updates drivers installed asus aura and it never opens. Same with Live Dash. It did give me a critical error for a while then nothing. I tried an older version of Asus aura and it open but I can't control anything.

My addressable cablemod led strip doesn't show up in software nor does my Ram. Selecting colours does nothing. What's going on.

Hi there.

I was having same problem with AURA software at weekend and made a ticket to support for it.. The following link contains working AURA download: https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/ROG-CROSSHAIR-VI-HERO/HelpDesk_Download/

NOW, that is ASUS US site. If you download the software from GLOBAL site (https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/ROG-CROSSHAIR-VI-HERO/HelpDesk_Download/)
the download DOESN'T WORK because it tries to install AURA software for X99 chipset motherboards. I tried and tried to explain this to ASUS support via email but failed miserably.

That is something you should report in the latest Aura thread. Check Asus software sub forum. It should be in the first threads.

Aura is cousing my system to freeze/crash at random times, this happens every 20 to 30 minutes or so.
After unistallen Aura system is stable

I still get the AsIO not found message on install with the latest release of Aura. The only thing I can control the lighting on is the GPU, it does not recognize the motherboard or RAM in the Aura software still.

Anyone else have luck getting it to work?

Edit: Disregard. I got it working with right clicking on the zip file before extracting it, going to properties, and clicking "unlock" at the bottom. After that extracting it and installing normally worked perfectly fine. I got no errors and all my hardware is recognized by the software...
