So I have this stupid random issue with my wifi. I can connect to the router (new router, this is 2nd on from ISP so it's deffo not a broken router). Everything connects and gets 500mbps internet, phones, laptops, you name it. But this stupid PC. Sometimes it takes 20 mins then starts working, sometimes it doesn't. For a few days after getting the new router, I had 500mbps no problem, I turn on today and boom the issue is back. I literally have been sat for 15-20 mins connected but there is zero internet, and if a page loads it takes about 10 mins. It's the randomness of it working one minute at max speed then nothing that is absolutely infuriating. And the fact you are going along fine and boom it just doesn't work the next time you boot.
1. Signal strength is max. It's nothing to do with this
2. Router been changed out, it's not that
3. If I use my phone as a hotspot, the thing works absolutely fine and the PC can surf the net with good speed!
4. Latest router with the WIFI 6 stuff and the WPA-3 thing (changing down doesn't help).
5. When it works and I do a speedtest, I get around 500mbps with a good ping, like 25. When it's not working, it marks the ping on speedtest as something daft like 400.
6. Windows 10 network troubleshooter is the most useless thing I have every used. It can never fix anything and never does. Back in the days of XP etc and 7, it would reset the adapter and do different things, often fixing issues.
7. Network reset does not help, I have latest drivers, uninstalling etc doesn't help. Literally nothing stops this constant problem.
8. Doing the usual flush dns, renew dns, netsh etc stuff...nothing works.
