Unable to enable D.O.C.P Crosshair VIII Hero

Hello, hope all of you are doing great. I'm having an issues and I'm wondering if any of you can help me.

I'm unable to enable D.O.C.P since the computer goes into an infity reboot or a black screen. Bellow is the current specs I have:

ROG Crosshair Hero VIII
AMD Ryzen 9 5950x
64 GB DDR4 RAM - Vengeance RGB PRO
AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT

For some reason I can't understand the D.O.C.P is not working I have tried to enable it with a RAM speed of:

3400 MHz - not working
3200 MHz - not working
3000 MHz - not working

I have also update the BIOS to latest version and the problem still persist. Not sure if I need to play with the voltage on the BIOS or maybe reset the CMOS?

Any ideas?

Thanks for the help

Hi @Hg1

Can you specify the part number of the memory kit? 64GB density can be tough on AM4 for some CPUs.

Not sure if I understand what you are asking but this is the RAM I have:

I have 4 16GB RAM installed

CMW32GX4M2D3600C18
DDR4 32GB (2X16 GB) 3600 MHz 18-22-22-42 1.35 ver 5.33

I have tried many D.O.C.P configuration but sadly nothing is working as of now. I can boot up the system if it is on Auto mode.

I was thinking on change settings on rhe Ryzen Master application -> Creator mode -> Auto Overclocking and check if that would help. Or maybe change the configuration on Adrenaline -> CPU -> Overclock CPU.

Not sure if any of the mentioned approaches would work at all.

Please read here.
Combining memory kits is not recommended nor supported by the motherboard and memory vendors. This is because memory kits are binned by the memory vendor in the density in which they are sold.

Please use a single kit validated on the motherboard memory QVL.

Ok, I unedrstand. The RAM I have is not within the list provided. But if I have to buy new RAM can you point me to the correct one if I want to add 128 GB of RAM?

Inspect the QVL. My advice would be to pick any and run them at Optimised Defaults. Overclocking 4x32GB on X570 is very difficult.

I doubt you need that much capacity, though?

I use the computer for forensic (processing large datasets), I run several servers and some research, plus occasional gaming mainly Halo.

Since I run multiple tasks at the same time I prefer to have a good amount of RAM.

I was thinking on updating the RAM to 128 GB, I was also reading that having D.O.C.P might not be a good idea if you are running multiple virtualize environment. Any thoughts?

BTW, thanks for all the help :).

there should be only 1 D.O.C.P setting in the list..
