Tuf Gaming B550 Pro Motherboard with Ryzen7 5700G no Gen 4 for in bios

Tuf Gaming B550-Pro with Ryzen 5700g.

When configuring the motherboard, in the Advanced\Onboard Device Configuration, the m.2_1 or any other setting (PCIEX16-1, m.2_2, etc.) there is no Gen 4 to select. Only Auto, Gen1, Gen2 or Gen3. I understand the Ryzen 5000 series should support Gen4. if i had a ryzen 4000 CPU, i would only get Gen3.

I assume the motherboard determines the mode based on the CPU? What am i missing?

thanks for any assistance!

Hi Livealoha

Welcome to the ROG forum.

Looking at the specs, it says the AMD Ryzen 5700G supports PCIe 3.0

Mahalo for your assistance, i appreciate it. Unfortunately, when building the system, i verified with manual of the Tuf Gaming B550-Pro motherboard and i referred to this on page 1-3 of the manual...I assumed that a Ryzen 5000 series CPU would support the PCIe 4.0 x 4. Apparently i was mistaken...

Again, thanks for pointing it out to me!
