First of all apologies if this is in the wrong section I wasn't sure if it went here or perhaps hardware and build advice.
I recently decided to upgrade from an old LGA 1155 P8P67 Pro and i5 2500k to a TUF gaming B550-plus wifi II and 5600X CPU. Long story short initially after booting I was sent to the BIOS where it would not recognise my SSD as a bootable device. After some quick reading I enabled CSM mode which sorted things along and allowed me to boot off of my SSD without any hassle. I just want to know if this a short term fix or a suitable long term solution, should I now be transferring off important files and reformatting or am I fine to just keep these setting and have nothing to worry about. I have read something about CSM not being allowed to be enabled to swap to windows 11 (Currently running windows 10) I'm not sure if I plan to make the swap to 11 currently but is something I am aware of and open to in the future.
Thanks for any information, I did a quick google search but didn't seem to come across an answer.
