Hi guys, I'm new here. Nice to meet you. I'm from Brazil and I'm sorry for bad English (my native language is Portuguese).

So let's talk about memory.

I tested some BIOS with my C6h and R7 1700, and the best of all bios for me is 9945 (9943 is also good)
My chip is Hynix H5AN8G8NMFR-TFC, I used thaiphoon's Burner to find out (the link is here: http://www.softnology.biz/files.html
So I've seen, my chip is developed to work at 2666 max freq., But the Gskill can run at 3200 CL16-18-18-38

I can run at 3333mhz with 16-17-17-37 68ohm ram voltage1,475v and soc 1,175

If you have the same chip, the best bios and configuration that I can perform are up.
I hope I contributed.

Waiting for a oficial bios with agesa 1.0.0.6.

its funny, its us the early adopters, system builders that are beta testing these cpu's. ive never bought a cpu in 20yrs that didn't have working motherboards. i didn't mind initially but after raja thought it would be wise to try tell me off for using an acronym of a swear word that i deleted, ive kind of lost all incentive to help. what a toxic personality that guy has. good luck everyone... i need a break.

You left an acronym that ends in 's' for 'sake' in your post, that I had to remove (I'm sure you can understand what the preceding two letters were). You may have forgotten and missed it, but it was there. Expletives are against the forum rules so I had to remove it and tell you so. Please don't try and make this into something it is not. And I'll say it again: do not post expletives on the forum. Thank you.

With BIOS 1401 I'm running my 1700 stable for the first time with the built in 4.0GHz overclock profile! (Does anyone not recommend using this profile?)

However, my ram still won't go above 2133. I have tried tweaking the timings a little, but tbh I have never manually clocked memory before, and nothing seems to work. The ram always defaults back to 2133. I'm using the TridentZ F4-3200C16Q-32GTZR. I have read that it might not go above 2600? Could someone please recommend some settings for me to try out? The computer is running excellent, I just want to get the ram speeds up and see what it's really capable of.

Any input is hugely appreciated! 🙂

Update: I don't know how it's working now (all I did was re-flash the BIOS and try the same things again), but I'm successfully running at 4GHz with 16GBs of the 32 at 3066. Strange thing is my FPS in Battlefield has actually dropped about 10. So I'm probably going to go back to a slower ram speed. After many more reflashes it appears the 32 gigs will only work at 2133. Anything higher will automatically drop the system to 16 gigs.

I dont use OC profile but i can run at 4ghz with 1.44v.

Try use Thaiphoon Burner and set the timing manually, proc ocp 68ohm and 1.1v cpu soc voltage.

FPS drops because the memory is unstable.

The OC profile has been very stable for me. CPU-Z shows the voltage fluctuating between 1.395 and 1.417v. Temperatures stay below 70 under heavy load.

Thanks, I'll give Thaiphoon Burnera try

Update: Here's what Thaiphoon gave me. Though I'm not sure what to do with this information. I'm also having trouble getting the computer to recognize all 32 gigs at 2133.

Update 2: I'm not even sure what the problem is anymore. It was possibly ASUS Aura somehow messing up the RGB RAM. Aura never worked very well with the ram, and would not fully uninstall. Even Revo Uninistaller couldn't get it off the damn computer. Used IObit Unlocker to forcibly delete all the program files in safe mode (crashed the computer in normal boot). After reinstalling AURA, suddenly the computer is recognizing all 32 gigs and its running at 2933! Even after a couple rounds of BF1 all 32 gigs continued to work at 2933, as far as I can tell at least.

Yes really good temps and voltage.
Your RAM is equal of my, just copy the last line and set your mobo. Try 16-18-18-18-38-56-6-9-39, 68ohm, gear down disable, voltage soc 1.12v, dram voltage 1.35v for 3200mhz.
I only use 2 sticks in dual channel, so try use 2 sticks first.

Thanks BIOS 1403

@ CanalPC hey buddy!

Have you run any low latency tests with this ram?
I am starting to play around with my rig again, trying the 9920 bios today.
I also want to check out the new 1602 tomorrow.
