Hi guys, I'm new here. Nice to meet you. I'm from Brazil and I'm sorry for bad English (my native language is Portuguese).

So let's talk about memory.

I tested some BIOS with my C6h and R7 1700, and the best of all bios for me is 9945 (9943 is also good)
My chip is Hynix H5AN8G8NMFR-TFC, I used thaiphoon's Burner to find out (the link is here: http://www.softnology.biz/files.html
So I've seen, my chip is developed to work at 2666 max freq., But the Gskill can run at 3200 CL16-18-18-38

I can run at 3333mhz with 16-17-17-37 68ohm ram voltage1,475v and soc 1,175

If you have the same chip, the best bios and configuration that I can perform are up.
I hope I contributed.

Waiting for a oficial bios with agesa 1.0.0.6.

Thanks for the info man!

I have the same ram, is 3333 the highest it can go?
Do you use the same settings as before?

Does it run better at 3333 with 2T than @ 3200 1T stock timings?

I am on 9945, want to try 1401 tonight.

i can run 3466 with 18-21-21-44 but failure when run a benchmark test.
3333 16-18-18-38 2T is better than 3200 16-18-18-38 1T because the latency is a little better. Copy, Read and Write is more or less the same.
I`m very happy with this memory because is possible run above of specification (until is hard to run at 3200 in other memories).

I will look at the SOC and see if it helps, thanks!

I've tried to be careful with that voltage -- I know that's the one that has fried boards in the past.
Tired of trolls and mods that act like this platform has no problems and it's the users fault. Later.

Thanks buddy, was busy last night, will try hopefully tonight.
Should I use the bios settings you posted at the beginning of the thread?

Also (and this question is for everyone), based on everything I have read about Infinity Fabric, I am considering a memory upgrade since I have another rig that could use my existing ram as an upgrade.

Is it worth it? If yes, are there any higher speed ram sticks (3600 and higher) that work with AGESA 1.0.0.6?
Just FYI, I only game on my pc (1800X), will there be any noticeable benefits?

Nice, good to help 🙂

Well, if you try OC on CPU and Memory, inicialize with memory. Use the Thaiphoon Burner to check who`s the chip manufacture and timings, after, try OC on CPU.
The infinity fabric is similar to HTT on Phenoms , up HT and CPU clock is a max performance. Of course, the technology is diferente, but the idea is same.

its funny, its us the early adopters, system builders that are beta testing these cpu's. ive never bought a cpu in 20yrs that didn't have working motherboards. i didn't mind initially but after raja thought it would be wise to try tell me off for using an acronym of a swear word that i deleted, ive kind of lost all incentive to help. what a toxic personality that guy has. good luck everyone... i need a break.

Thanks again buddy!!

Now running the same ram as yours at at 3333mhz with 16-17-17-17-37 68ohm ram voltage1,475v and soc 1,175 on the latest bios 1401.
1800X overclocked to 3.9 stable @ 1,35V using DOCP Standard profile, load line calibration 3, extreme power phase.
Do you think it will work at 1T or go any higher? Is 1,475 ok for everyday use?

Cmon man, don't take it personally. The community is what keeps this thing going.
I bloody dumped my other rig (7700K) just to play around with my 1800X cause I consider multi cores to be the way forward and I haven't looked back.
Yes, it is a pain in the ass to be a beta tester from day 1 but AMD rushed these CPUs and mobos out. I'm sure that come winter, this platform is gonna be the best one by far...

I only game on my pc and I don't mind the minor loss of frames cause I use a 21:9 monitor with a 1080ti. I am just happy that at least now with Agesa 1.0.0.6 my ram works at its normal speed (and even better with Canal's help) 🙂

Excellent results and 1.35v to 3.9ghz is really good. : )
1T results a some instability and gear down get a bit performance versos 2T and gear down disable. I can run many games without problems

I think the platform aren't fully stable yet but, the benefits and the performance is OK for me and the progression is evident. In this case, for me, no problems , but i comprehend the other ponts of view. I will use for a many time this platform, then i want to contribute for maturing and better performance at all.
