Six months ago I bought Crosshair VI Hero with much of love. But since first day, everything was buggy and not stable. I didn't even OC once with it. I just want it to work as it is. But it didn't. Cold boot, USB problems, Fan header problems, performance drops, buggy BIOS versions etc...
After getting lots of Q-Code 8 error, I tried every possible option. So as last option, I bought Kraken X62 water cooling. I did tried CM AIO before, but it got exploded because of it boiled somehow. CM refund me after it. I bought Noctua CPU cooler after. Till yesterday it was working with high temps. But it was working anyway. I suspect maybe Q-Code 8 was the reason of it. So I bought Kraken X62.
And guess what, it boiled it again. Somehow mobo doesn'!t work with any liquid coolers. It didn't even boot to windows because temp was 85-90 celcius. Over Temperature error!
So I gave up today. I just went to store, bought MSI B350 Tomahawk mobo. I connect everything.
Now I don't have cold boot issue. My DDR4's are working at 3200 Mhz with just one quick option in BIOS. My CPU temp is just 31 Celcius.
I'm hoping to get refund or new mobo from ASUS after all. But I will never, ever use it again. They don't even sell this mobo in stores anymore. They replaced it with extreme version. Even ASUS knows that this mobo is full of bugs.
I've never expected this. I'm really disappointed by Asus.
After 6 months, I enjoy my Ryzen CPU for the first time.
