Temps quite off after sleep/resume? Is there a fix/issue?

I was having what appeared to be a reading error with the TMPIN0 from (CPUID HWMonitor) and/or the Asus "CPU" (vs "CPU Socket", from HWiNFO64) on my 1700x. The values were 18-20 degrees (Celsius) above what appears to be the normal values for idle. I followed the instructions from this thread (https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?94591-Motherboard-Temps-reading-from-the-wrong-sensor&p=66...) and set the "Sense MI Skew" setting in the BIOS to Disabled. That appears to fix the problem when the computer has been freshly booted.

I have my computer set to sleep when inactive. When I wake it up, this BIOS setting appears to be lost... or something else is going on that I can't explain. In either case, the TMPIN0 and the Asus "CPU" temp monitors seem to get out of whack, and are back to being +18-20 degrees "above normal." Is there a way to fix this? If not, is this a significant issue?
