Hello,
I have Windows 11 on ROG Strix B550-I Gaming MB with 5600x CPU. The USB-C to 3.5mm audio cable that came with the MB used to work fine. Suddenly it stopped working a few weeks ago.
When I plug, and unplug the cable nothing gets detected.
My BIOS is up to date (v 3301), my audio drivers are up to date (v 6.0.9575.1 WHQL [11/09/2023]), and my chipset drivers are up to date. (I followed the steps here: https://rog-forum.asus.com/t5/downloads-for-motherboards/drivers-realtek-audio-amd-3xx-4xx-5xx-6xx-a...)
Additionally, when I try to open Realtek Audio Console, it crashes to desktop on launch.
Edited for more info: 1- Realtek Audio Manager is not present on my system. 2- When I uninstall all realtek drivers and I disconnect and reconnect the USB audio adapter, it does get recognized but as a microphone instead of headphones.
Can someone help me to get the USB audio to work again?
Thanks
