I shut down my computer like i do every night, and when i went to turn it on just now, the ethernet said no connections available, so i replugged all ethernet ends, still nothing. I went to check adapter settings and the Onboard Ethernet adapter is completely GONE from the list of adapters. I check device manager, and it TOO is just gone from the list. Scanning hardware changes does nothing new, trying to install the driver gives me "No intel hardware found" error, and in BIOS, everything is how i left it when it was working. its been less than 12 hours since it was on, and ethernet was working flawlessly... now it just deleted itself for no real reason, BY ITSELF? anyone else have this problem, and how is it fixed? Thank you!
