These drivers seem to completely screw up high definition HDMI audio out, it's no longer available as a playback device in the audio manager section in Windows...

That's all?

Anyone getting SideBySide errors is event viewer whenever SetACL64.exe is accessed?

Activation context generation failed for "C:\Program Files\AMD\CIM\Bin64\SetACL64.exe". Dependent Assembly Microsoft.VC80.MFC,processorArchitecture="amd64",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",type="win32",version="8.0.50608.0" could not be found. Please use sxstrace.exe for detailed diagnosis.

It's asking for an unpatched version of Visual C++ 2005. I am running a fresh Win 10 Pro 64-bit Creators Update and by default it comes with a patched version of C++ 2005, but will not use it because it's the wrong version.

You can initiate a SideBySide error just by putting C:\Program Files\AMD\CIM\Bin64\SetACL64.exe in your browser and 'download' the file.

Yeah, you need the specific 8.0.50608.0 runtime, the installer does not seem to install it automatically. It can be downloaded from https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=18471

That's actually version 8.0.56336, but it seems to have fixed it. Thanks!

Eh, I don't install those drivers, and manually disable HDMI audio in my playback devices anyway.

Either way I ended up rolling back this driver and just sticking with just my most recent video card update and ASUS board drivers.
