Ryzen 9 3900x Asus Strix X570-E 4.3Ghz All core

finally I finished building a gaming PC with Ryzen 9 3900x. 😄
after previously I was in doubt with the Asus Strix x570-e seeing many problems in several forums.
because i need many sata ports and i have to choose x570 from asus. but in the end I am happy with the Asus Strix X570-E. :cool:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
and now I need advice. I run 3900x with the default but idle temperatures above 60c and load above 90c.
now I try with OC to 4.3Ghz with vcore 1,200V (LLC Lvl 3) Soc 1,081V (LLC Lvl 3) gskill f4-3600c16d-32gtzn at xmp 3600cl16 and run stable cinebench, realbench, forza horizon 4.

at night idle temp 40-46c load max 73c, game forza avg temp 45-49c.at morning idle 35-39c. i think ryzen 9 3900x very sensitive to room temperature.
Is it safe with settings like this?

not the best score @4.3GHz
84580

my 3900x was running 24/7
@4.2GHz, 1.2V @3800 16-15-15-15-30, @1.1 SoC V, 98% stable
@4.2GHz, 1.23V @3800 16-15-15-15-30, @1.1 SoC V, 100% stable
YT, Firefox etcpp with NH-D15 36-46c
games like GTA5 50-54c
Cinebench max 68c

im pretty impressed of your R9 @1.2V with 4.3Ghz
but suggest you to run prime95 for 10min and see if 1.2V are really enough...

Thank you, I'll try it.

😉 update :
and yes, 3900x 4.3Ghz with 1.2V run prime95, after 6 minutes my PC restarts 😉
but after lower cpu ratio to 42 i can run prime95 10 minute avg temp is 62, but after 7 minute, temperature are climbing to 88.3c (it looks like if I continue the test more than 10 minutes the temperature will continue to rise, * the number behind the comma *)
i don't know the temperature in my room, it looks like 30c more.
i use case be quiet dark base 700 and coller nzxt kraken x72 with performance set.
it looks like I have to buy fans for the intake, any suggestions for fans best performa ?

-------------------------------
and what about 98% and 100% stable ? how to?
i use this pc for premiere pro and after effect, sometimes for gaming

Best fans are Noctua - I have some over 10 years and still going. https://noctua.at/en/products/fan

my 3900x is on the x470 CH7, i run it at 1.35v at 4.425MHz with 3200MHz (cl16) RAM i idle at 35c on a 360mm AIO and get a R20 score of 7780.

I feel iv won the silicone lottery with my chip as it will push 4.475 without crashing r20.

I have an x570 |CH8 coming this week and some 3600Mhz RAM so hoping to creep up my score a lil.

edit, cpu temp idles at 45c (i was looking at GPU lol)

max temp during test r20?
do you test with prime95?

Maaan sh*t stope it, your CPU will degradate under this voltage, the results are good, but u squeezing out the last juices from your 3900X, it should degradate after half of a year focusing on my knowledge. Problem is that, you overvolting bad cores in your cpu (default, not energy efficient cores that are not marked in ryzen master). So, u should look on voltage that PBO automatically search for your model, to keep frequency at the same lvl. I saw a lot of chips of 3900X and PBO has never been more that 1.25- 1.28V cause more voltage on all core load cause immediately degradation!! Besides u have qute big temperature on full load, it is 100% degradating, 1,35V at 80C+ IS VERY HIGH VOLTAGE! So, i am strongly recommend u to use MAX 1.28V and to lower frequency, in order to prolong life. Just believe me, i have very big experience, and honestly, it is not worth it AT ALL. 200-300 points more or less in multi and 20-30 points if sing core cinebecnh doesn't matter at 99% applications and 100% games dont give u extra FPS, while your chip after several months couldn't keep those frequencies, and u lose a lot performance because of short circuit transistors inside your chip.
P.s (I have 3900X X570 crosshair viii at 4.3 and 1.2V 500 point singl and 7600 multi)
