ROG-STRIX-X470-F GAMING > Unable to upgrade to W11, fails Secure Boot

It currently runs W10 Pro and when doing Microsoft PC Health Checks it fails on Secure boot.

The Bios is 6042 - latest. It has been set to defaults.

I have reviewed and followed all tips on the support page:
Motherboard support: https://rog.asus.com/se/motherboards/rog-strix/rog-strix-x470-f-gaming-model/
Windows 11 Support: https://rog.asus.com/us/support/FAQ/1046970
General motherboards compatibility page: https://www.asus.com/microsite/motherboard/ASUS-motherboards-Win11-ready/

Tried altering some BIOS Secure Boot settings, switching from Other OS to Windows OS, but it does not help.

Any ideas on other settings I can try before I file a Tech Support request?

Hi,

Refer to this thread : [INFORMATION] Windows 11 : Get Ready

Note : Once done, if you are looking to update directly from Windows 10 to Windows 11 without clean install, but that your hard drive is MBR and not GPT, you will need to convert it to GPT (without data loss) :

- Right-click Windows Start button then click Search.
- Search for cmd. In the search results list, right-click Command Prompt and then click Run as administrator.
- If/When you are prompted by User Account Control, click Continue.
- At the command prompt, type mbr2gpt /validate /allowFullOS and press Enter.
- At the command prompt, type mbr2gpt /convert /allowFullOS and press Enter then once done close the Command Prompt then restart your PC.

That was something I had forgot about. Thanks.

Ran in to other issues, but now the OS drive is GPT.
