Hello, I recently made a motherboard swap from an MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX to this ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING WIFI II due to a reoccurring issue involving ram problems with the MSI.
My question is that after setting up everything I have started gaming on it and currently it is performing really well. The issue is that while checking out the fan controller, I realized that for some reason my CPU (R5 3600) is clocked in at 4100-ish MHz, which is not what I had set it up as, from what I know it should be at 3600 MHz?
Now I have never CPU overclocked in my life, whereas the only "overclocking" that I did is set my ram up to its 3600 rating. Am I doing something wrong? I read in some Ryzen forms that overclocking may cause long term wear on the CPU, which is not something I want to deal with as this R5 has been serving me well for a really long time and I would like to keep using it for a lot longer.
Also important to mention, my temps really do not go above 65 degrees due to the overkill Noctua NH-D15 I have on it.

Hi @nilesh0640
Sounds like the old board was limiting your CPU.
The 3600 boosts to 4.0-4.2 GHz out of the box as those are the turbo frequencies depending on thermal headroom. Your temperatures are fine.
