ROG Strix B550-E random reboots if DOCP enabled

Hi,

I have a ROG Strix B550-E with BIOS 1401.

If I enable DOCP the pc will randomly reboots when windows is idle or performing light workload such as browsing (not if I perform heavy workloads such as Folding@home).

If I leave it to auto the pc will be perfectly stable but the ram will run at 2133...

The CPU is a 3700x and all the others components including the ram worked perfectly with my previous board Asus Prime X470-Pro

My ram is a 2x16gb 3600 gskil kit: G.SKILL F4-3600C16D-32GVKC DDR3600 16-19-19-39 1T

The board arrived with bios 0805, I tried every BIOS from 0805 onwards.

Any idea?

Thank you

Maurizio

the notorious AGESA...
I dont know how AMD works with Asus and other board manufacturers.
Seem to me that the board manufacturers just take whatever the controller patch from AMD...

back to the main topic, there must be some bug remain because I can run 3600Mhz and benchmark it soon after I change from 3200 to 3600 and reboot
But, after I shutdown PC, and start again, issue occurs. the most common I see is booting into windows and the PC randomly shutdown itself

Thanks for this. I've tried the same with the Version 1804 BIOS and it does seem more stable. I've not gotten any WHEA 18 errors that cause reboots (but I do get WHEA error 1 which does not seem to cause reboots. Running 3600 on DOCP profile with a 5900x.
