dunno if the Ram is in the Asus QVL List...

Crucial Ballistix BL2K8G36C16U4W 3600 MHz, DDR4, DRAM, Desktop Gaming Speicher Kit, 16GB (8GB x2), CL16,
Gskill F4-3600C17D-16GTZ Memory D4 3600 16GB C17 TriZ K2 2X 8GB

Totally 32 GB, works without probs.

System: 1x 970er Nvme, 2x Seagate HDDs, 3800x, 1080TI Evga, 850W Power - nothing Special - no overclocking
Bios 2006
OS: actual W10 21H1/ 19043.1151

Not so easy this times to setup a relaxing System without daily downs.. in the Future (2022) i like to update with 5x00 CPU and a 30x0 Nvidia or change to an Intel System

Correction:
The Fan Step Up/Down does seem to work.

But is it possible that the Fan Step Up/Down only works for the middle temperature setting?

Will there be a 2423 BIOS Release?
Some boards (A, XE, Pro) got a 2423 update, no beta, labeled as stable.
But has the same changelog as the 2420 beta ones.
I tried to find it on the same ftp but no luck...

And my cold boot issue is back too.
Which brings me to the conclusion that some setting in the UEFI is causing this.
I didn't change anything in regards to RAM Timings or voltages.
Doesn't seem to be a setting in the AMD CBS menu...
Maybe the ErP Ready Setting?

Hi,

Same issue here with 5800x and (2x) Crucial Ballistix BL2K16G36C16U4BL RGB, 3600
Cold boot (PSU OFF/ON) -> stuck with a led Q-Code error, have too swtich off with power button and on again to make it work.

Please ASUS when will you care about this?

So the latest beta (2420) was pulled from the website ...

But 2423 seems to be next?

Same for me with Crucial Ballistix BL2K16G36C16U4BL maybe it's a question of RAM SUPPORT LIST QVL?

Yep, cold boot issue is still there.

Don't buy corsair RAM (Made the mistake again, shame on me)
Lowering frequency or loosing timings seems to fix the issue. (but too early to tell)
The XMP Profil (3600@18-22-22-22-42, yeah i know sub optimal timings, but was cheap 32gb kit) was cold booting just fine for quite some time.
Then it failed again.
But after the "3 Beeps 3 Reboots and safe mode thing", reapplying the settings in bios, the system boots up fine and is stable.
