It is 1.2.0.1 Patch A.
So it is 1.2.0.1 with the USB Fix patched/integrated (and maybe other things)? Idk...

This BIOS fixed my sound crackling issue.
Still happens sometimes. I upped the vsoc voltage a bit. Lets see how it goes.
The crackling is very minor and usually takes some time to appear.

All seems good so far, 12 hours in.

Only spotted this update today so applied, time will tell on the USB issue, which I recently noticed was killing my gaming headset chats between game loads and needed replugging almost every time using the front usb ports

My QVL ram still isn't working at the full rated 3600mhz speed though

After updating the BIOS for 2006 beta, the system hangs up, regardless of time and actions, reset helps, nothing but the BIOS has changed, the Windows 10 error log does not show anything, since 1804 this has not been observed

3 Days later USB hasnt disconnected once. PCI4 enabled. Havent tested many other functions in the BIOS, but havent noticed any issues at all in constant use.

There is also 2003:

ROG STRIX B550-E GAMING BIOS 2003

- Support Smart Access Memory for Ryzen 3000 Series Processors

Before running the USB BIOS Flashback tool, please rename the BIOS file (SB550EG.CAP) using BIOSRenamer."

However, 2003 doesn't contain AMD's USB fix, and ASUS' website is showing 2003 as "latest" BIOS unless you click "See All Downloads," at which point 2006 (the one with the USB fix) appears. Quite odd.

Curiously, if you visit the page right now it claims that both Ver. 2003 and Ver. 2006 were released on 2021/03/27. However, that is ... demonstrably false. On the previous page of this forum thread, over 3 people commented about the Ver. 2006 release on 2021/03/22 onward. And I don't recall 2003 existing back then. Perhaps someone at ASUS forgot to upload 2003 and later tweaked the release dates hoping nobody would notice, LOL

Bios 2006 is non beta.

Did anybody compare 2006 vs 2003? Which one is better?

Both work fine for me with the B550-F but geez get the bios staright before we wreck or boards!! How hard is it to put up the current and newset bios.
