I updated. It broke things. Now im back on 2301. I just had similar issues with my b450-f board after updating. Luckily my keyboard still worked. i was able to downgrade back to 2301 using afudos. You have to create a bootable usb drive using a bootable disk creation tool. I used rufus. then copy afudos and bios 2301 in my case to the drive afterwards. reboot to flash drive. run afudos "bios name" /p /b /n /k /x without the quotes. this will force the previos bios and fix the problems. Or atleast it did in my case. I am back up and running on previous bios version with no issues.

I have AMD Ryzen 3600 with Asus Strix B450 bios version 2406 and everything works fine except for my ability to turn off the LED lights. When I go into Bios onboard settings, disabling the "Onboard LED in S5 state" (which is the soft-shutdown state when you turn off computer but the power supply is still plugged in I think), my Windows 10 Pro ver. 1903 freezes after I enter the pin number. When I use the Asus Aura program to try turning off my LED, it freezes my Windows right when I switch the LED lights off.

Every site I looked at had the same instructions for creating a FreeDOS USB in Rufus, but I could not get it to boot. Is there some trick to this?

Turn the switch on the top side of the keyboard to "Bios" there is a switch there

Thanks, that fixed the keyboard. I forgot that switch was there. I still can't get any mouse to work in the BIOS. I opened a support case with Asus a few days ago and they're working to reproduce it. We'll see if they figure out what's wrong with this BIOS.

Try using this HP Bootable USB tool:

Thanks, I tried it but it keeps saying the device is write protected, but I can confirm that it isn't. I tried 2 different flash drives.

Try these methods to remove the Write Protection from the USB drive:

A new BIOS update has been posted:
Version 2501

ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING BIOS 2501
Fix an issue where the mouse will sometimes freeze in the UEFI.
Update multi-language string.

So where is the best place to watch for updates to this issue? Apparently it's either not here, or Asus doesn't have anything to update (including a no-update update). This is my first Asus board since an old nForce 2 board

I upgrade setup with r2600+b450-f+xpg d60g , everything fine but i have an issue with mobo rgb.

Left side rog eye not working, it’s never light on boot or in windows, also aura sync not recognized motherboard.

Aura sync just show xpg ram and work fine, but as i said no mobo.

I did ;
-latest bios
-clear uninstall sync after reset and reinstall -in bios led off restart on
-in bios erp off
*i didnt light it up
Thanks for advices.
