Hi all, I was wondering if anyone could help me.

I have recently finished my first PC build.

I have the B450-F board by ROG in a Corsair 175-R Case however I am having a bit of an issue.
I tried using the two USB 3.0's on the front of the case and felt like they were running really slow, after doing speed tests on all of the cases USB ports I found that the 2 USB's 3.0 on the front of the case were actually slower than the USB 2.0 and the USB 3.0 on the back of the case.

This seems ridiculous as these are the easiest USB's to access and the ones I would instinctively use if I was going to plug in a USB stick or an external HDD/SDD.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks.

Tom

2008 works fine for me. Had to clear the CMOS on the MoBo to make it work. Another BIOS appeared on the support website though.

The 2008 version works well, except that sometimes it does not start and that it gives the white light, you have to reset it again.
New version 2202, Enhanced security

2202 works quite well. Just a strange behaviour when rebooting. Sometimes it takes really long time (~1 minute). It appeared after installing the Nvidia Driver. When there is no Nvidia SOftware, it boots normally for me.

According to this some Asus boards (including the Strix B450-F) already have a BIOS version released that supports the Ryzen 3000 series CPU's:

It installs last BIOS Version 2406 2019/07/05, it works fine, except that in the BIOS configuration screen it does not detect wireless mouse, I have tried two and nothing.

I have the same problem with my ROG Strix B450-I that I installed 2406 onto. I have a Corsair K70 LUX RGB and I can't get to BIOS with it, nor use it in BIOS. Corsair mouse also won't work in BIOS. I had to use a wireless keyboard to get into and modify the BIOS. I also noticed the scroll lock light blinks on the keyboard during boot.

Turn the switch on the top side of the keyboard to "Bios" there is a switch there
