I have Rog Crosshair viii hero (not Dark hero), with nvidia Zotac 3090 and 5950x ... my chipset in idle is at 66 degrees... but in full load (rendering cpu+gpu) is at 84 degrees... as not dangerous??? Or is it "normal"?

Hello marcus46

Please specify if it is 84F or 85C? It is big difference.

As I recall, the max operating temps of the X570 chipset is 95C...

So I think anything under that is within spec and ok.

My Dark Hero sits at about 58C idle, about 66C under load.

Has 63C in idle and 85C in full load...

During rendering and gpu full load, probably the heat of the gpu, warms it sends hot air on the fan of the chipset..
P.s. I read temperature with Hwinfo64
