I came home tonight and powered on my computer to a “no boot, please insert boot disk”. This computer has run completely fine for 2+ years with no changes. I have two NVME drives which are both recognized in the bios, but the primary drive will not boot. I took the drive out and put it into an enclosure which showed all of the files as expected. There is no indication that the drive itself if failing, nor that the motherboard is failing to detect the drive. It simply will not boot. I’ve validated that it is in the boot position and I’ve taken all other usb devices off of the machine. I also cannot select it manually as a boot drive. I appreciate any ideas at all as I’m extremely frustrated.
