seasonic is one brand that are great till the end (a few dud's), got 1000w one well over 10 years still running strong (had one fan change).

try 2 sticks (from CPU slots 2 & 4) first till boot at higher DOCP speed than add other two (might work around the issue) and SOC manually 1.05, 1.1 or 1.15. Only other ideas which may have already done.

Vendor specific are just what manufacturer has tested themselves and doubt there would be much difference as memory controller is in the cpu. If you have timings used by gigabyte board you could manually put them in asus one and try that.
look at https://www.amd.com/en/products/ryzen-compatible-memory/ready-for-3rd-gen-amd-ryzen and if on this than AMD tested it.

You could also look at using ryzen dram calculator https://www.techpowerup.com/download/ryzen-dram-calculator/ which posted how to use more than once on here but not kept invested in current use as I'm happy with my setup's.

On this BIOS for CH VIII HERO, I am experiencing higher CPU temps (7-10 degrees hotter) and lost around 5% performance on Cinebench R20.
I wish I could downgrade it.

You can flashback to any previous bios using a flash drive and the bios flashback button on the back of the machine. I've downgraded and moved back to the next release multiple times.YRMV

I have tried all the bios released so far and the only bios that allows me to use docp with 4 ram banks from 32 gb to 3600 mhz without any problem is the 2206 very stable never a shutdown never a problem

This sounds more like an issue with your parts than the BIOS. I've been able to run 4 DIMMs of 3600 (@3600 and 3800) since 3501 and has been rock solid on 3601 with 1900 FCLK. I can post my working 3800 timings.

It could be that your current settings are not being reset to default and the machine is trying to boot with old memory timings. Have you tried to pull the battery before the flash and leaving it out until after the new BIOS has been flashed and boots?

What if you run less RAM? 128GB is quite the strain, especially if you're running it at higher clock speeds. Also, the memory controller on the 5950X will probably be able to handle that much memory better.

FWIW I'll chime in here as well. I'm by no means an expert tweaker of memory, just a basic b1tch (I let the BIOS do most stuff on its own). I just upped to 3601 release this morning and could only run stable DOCP settings when keeping Memory Frequency at 3600MHz with FLCK Frequency at 1800Mhz. If I bump the Memory Frequency to 3666MHz like I had been running since I built this rig in 2019 - instant no-go, back to start, try again buddy.
