RGB Keyboard is still shining after a shutdown

Hi,

when i shut down my pc my RGB Keyboard is still shining. Do i have to set anything special in my bios settings to avoid this?

my keyboard:
Corsair K95 RGB PLATINUM

Smack it with a 10 lb sledge hammer. It wont light up ever again!


What PC do you have it plugged into. If that port has 5v standby its going to stay lit.

Corsair keyboards tend to keep on shining when the PC shuts off.
Especially if you don't Log off or shut all apps down first. The Keyboard don't stop till it's told to stop by the Corsair App or you manually lower the brightness with the brightness key first.
I have a K 70 and it does the same thing.

You can A, manually quit the Corsair Utility Engine app first or just dim the keyboard before shutdown

Could try enabling ErP in the bios.

Had the same issue. Go to Advanced -> APM Configuration -> ErP -> Enable (S4+S5)
