RAM Compatibility with C6H

Hi everyone,
I'm interested in knowing if someone has this kit from Corsair ( CMD16GX4M4B3000C15 ) running on the Crosshair VI Hero.

It's the RAM that I already have, and i'm planning to reuse it on my new Ryzen build (C6H and R5 1600/X). I know that it isn0t on the compatibility list, but lots of people are running RAM out of the compatibility list, so it was just for knowing if it would or wouldn't work.

Thank you everyone in advance!

You will need either beta BIOS 9943 or 9945 with the 1.0.0.6 AGESA for the most chance of success. It will require you to note the numbers from the embedded Intel XMP profiles on your RAM and enter those extended timings.

You can use Syldon's write up here: https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?93566-Memory-setup-and-what-to-change

Or my own here: https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?93472-Get-Corsair-Dominator-CMD16GX4M2B3200C16-Up-to-Speed

My RAM is probably similar to yours as it's also Corsair Dominator Platinum.

hi Albert1007
even itn't on the QVL list , but doesn't mean not working
R&D team is still working hard testing QVL compatibility , You could try running at 2400Mhz speed

We're due for a production AGESA 1.0.0.6 based BIOS any day now, right ASUS? Any day now, any day now...

Thank you everyone for your replies!

I'll wait until the BIOS with the new Agesa is published, but if possible try to add support for this kit, at least until 2933mhz, because on Intel the difference in RAM speed isn't much a gain, but on Ryzen it is 😕
