pci expressx16 4.0 slot is running atx8

i have a b550 f gaming strix board with latest bios and its paired with a ryzen 5 3600 and a 16 gb of ballistix ram 2 nvme in the board and 3 satas ssds in correct ports  with a 3060 ti and the gpu on gpu-z is only showing its running at x8 speeds gen 4  not at full x16 gen 4. is there a bios issue or something that needs to be changed? or should i leave it and see not difference in performance? just wanna get the full potential of my components

• The PCIEX16_1 slot does not share bandwidth on the B550 F. Can you remount both the GPU and CPU.
• Inspect the CPU socket and CPU pin-pad.
• Reseat CPU and cooler whilst ensuring for consistent mounting pressure as per cooling vendors guidelines.
• If using a riser cable, also try connecting the GPU directly.

I have now upgraded to a ryzen 75700x and still have same issue the gpu only is in x8mode. Is there any performance loss caise im getting decent fps in games and all but would it be better in x16 mode cause gigabyte would like a rma but on a 3060ti idk how rma would be and all

How to I check the pin pad? Just looking at the socket grid? And I have reseated the cpu and also it is a different motherboard also cause it was upgraded from a b450m asus tuf gaming plus 2. Is there something that I’m not doing correctly or do yu think my cpu is having bad lanes somehow?

check GPUZ there is a program with in to check if it runs at full speed because when not in use in downgrades to 4x 8x when on auto..

check manual just incas some boards downgrade the pci to 4x if an nvme is populated..

Reference this, check power setting in power plan, try render test in GPU-Z.
