PBO - B450-F GAMING

I just purchased a 5800x3d, everything went smooth to the point that I wanted to do some advanced tweaking, I updated my bios to the latest, updated my AMD chipset driver too, but still no PBO in my bios I looked everywhere for it. I looked on Google and I found out the settings exists for 400 series.

Can someone clarify this for me and thank you.

Other Asus 400/300 series boards like the X470-F, X470-PRO, CH7, CH6 (if not all, afaik), have been missing PBO settings for X3D. So until they finally enable something many other manufacturers have done so from a couple of agesas back, you'll have to resort to a software solution inside windows (p.e, PBO2Tuner).

Hopefully they'll re-consider and include it, but chances are becoming slim.

I hope so, cause otherwise I'm gonna leave the Rog community for good, I hate to be left behind

Honestly, by this point users have no incentive to buy new Asus 500 series MBs just because of that limitation (and pcie4) when the platform is so old, and VRMs on most of those older mid to high, or even top tier boards are more than enough for the 5800X3D's requirements/hard limits, so everyone loses.

Both users, for the nuisance of having to resort to other means to apply PBO settings (or just plain missing them), and Asus for partially having neglected them when the time arrives to ponder the next MB brand/model to choose for another long term support platform like AM5, and there's fear to miss out something later again.

I mean, even my other value 4-phase B450 from another brand supported PBO on X3D as soon as available, so it's disappointing that a X470-F that cost more than double still doesn't on 1.2.0.B. Let alone for CH users...

Oh well, still crossing fingers.
