I've observed that ASUS doesn't like to admit faults in their products.
But they do tend to release fixes somewhat promptly. Very little documentation, but filled with euphemisms (saying things like "Increases stability" rather than "Fixed a serious design flaw/bug").
Not trying to badmouth ASUS. All the major vendors behave this way. Cut-throat market.
