Wow, I would take that as a win myself. Still, it suggests it's not a hardware problem -- at least I'm hoping so.
We used to hear the name Bahz from ASUS thrown around, and reports of this or that with regard to this issue and this was prior to BIOS 1201. If this was a BIOS fix, I'm wondering why it wasn't put in the "mini-beta" 1201 software. It just seems like there is way too much evasion on this issue to suit me.

But thanks for trying, MCCSolutions. Glad something worked for you!
Sometimes it's like the RGB dying is a symptom, and the underlying "disease" can be different things. For instance, many of us don't even have 3rd party RGB programs. It's just one day we turned on our computers and the lights no longer worked.

Oh, and by the way: after reinstalling Aura it goes to an error when you try to start it. Then it calls up a browser window to report the error. Interestingly, the web page tells me it's a "new" error (even though it's happened prior to today as well) and that it's on a X99 board. ASUS again has not set things up properly so even the error pingback doesn't send them anything they can use. They're probably scratching their heads wondering why they aren't getting data on errors for the X370 -- well, the software thinks it's running on an X99 is why. [SIGH]

is the Aura program exe running with administrative privileges? Did you see a brief black Command Prompt window? Were there any promps with the errors and what did they say? The browser information is irrelevant. Did you restart after installation? Does the AsRogAuraService.exe have system full control under the security tab? Is the sha1 Digital Signature showing up? What OS are you running? Have you tried stopping the Service and restarting it? Is the RPC working properly?

Now you're just spinning your wheels. The software installed with none of that nonsense and used to work -- then didn't. All that stuff is just putting lipstick on a pig. Your method isn't universal, and isn't a fix. All the mumbo jumbo questions challenging those who disagree with you won't change that.
A real FIX is: the problem goes away using the factory software and even without the software the mobo lights work on their own. You haven't done any of that in a way that helps anyone with the problem and hence: you haven't fixed it.
I'm done. Have fun but it's not the answer. You need to calm down a bit and realize you haven't cracked the case, Sherlock.
