*NVME TESTING folder contains BIOS files that have been modded for NVME support*

I can add current microcode that was released, however this may not patch everyone's CPU.. just depends on what processor they're using..
for example:
your board - Rampage IV Formula
if you are using 3930K CPU it would be patched.
if you are using 3960X CPU it would not be patched.

So essentially... I'll just have to re-do them if/when Intel releases more microcode.

I hope this makes sense.

**Keep an eye on your BIOS file that's in the NVME folder.. If you see the details change to today or tomorrow's date.. that means it has been updated.
It will take some time to get through all the files in all the folders. It's at least 50 bios files total.**

I appreciate you have to do a tonne of different bioses, you are a legend, and everything is appreciated. i'm more than happy to wait, so you don't have to do everything twice. i'm always checking back on the thread, so no pressure.

thanks

Since the NVME modded BIOS files seem to be the most popular, ALL of the BIOS files in "NVME TESTING" folder have been updated with "most current" CPU Microcode.
I will start working on the main folders later today/tomorrow.

I thought no one will go after microcode version*(Meltdown & Spectre)*as they slow down CPUs.

All BIOS files have been updated. There are a couple of older boards that had no new microcode. - However, on those boards there were other modules to update, so they are updated.

Sweet. I updated my bios last night - Nvme now working with csm off. Good to know the other modules have been updated as well. Not tested for any performance drop, like you bolts i'm hoping that there might be a later release with less of a performance drop...

Thanks again for the stirling work.

If you want to upgrade MEI firmware
Open the OneDrive link in my original post and look for file called: Intel MEI (Firmware) 8.1.65.1586.zip

Download and extract the contents of that file.
Then open METool.exe as administrator. Computer will then reboot and upgrade MEI firmware.
