The new samsung 950 pro are beasts! Bolts4Breakfast could I trouble you for RIVBE bios with NVM modules? Apparently a dude with a Z87 flashed in Z170 modules and can boot natively the 950 pro. I am slowly getting all the bits and pieces together for my new machine. This will be the best 🙂

A lot of topics are now talking about integrating NVMe UEFI modules on older asus mobo. Do you think you can give it a try on the RF4 bios. I would be curiuous to test that with a 950Pro M.2 on it 😛

The only reason I won't release the NVMe mods is because they can be unstable. I refuse to release mods that I can't test out for myself. 😕 Sorry. I would hate to release a mod and it brick someone's board. And then I get the negative feedback... Because I did the mod. Understand? If you wanna try it, then be my guest. Otherwise, keep this thread on track 🙂

Changelog varies depending on which motherboard. MEI Firmware is separate from BIOS. AHCI update is included for non RAID systems.

BOLTS4BREKFAST can you please mod the BIOS for the RIVBE to be able to boot from the SM951 AHCI? I will use it with the Lycom DT-120 adapter.

I've already mentioned not modding any BIOS with NVME support due to issues that could arise on a per user basis.
