I'm sorry for the delay. I mean a binary copy of the chip (if available) Why do it: I have an old processor series QA and as soon as I have to flash converter, then it ceases to be determined.

May be he mean , could you modify BIOS 4901 with 14.x OROM for AHCI mode rather than RAID mode. I've tring to installing
Intel RST 14.6.1.30 but its said not support for our chipset (X79). Only RAID system can run with your modded BIOS
via Intel Chipset SATA Raid Controller. But Intel C600 SATA AHCI Controller can not run with Intel RST 14.6.1.30.
My system still limit with 13.0.0.1098, too old.

How you can modify BIOS 4901 with 14.x OROM for AHCI mode for us, please.

BIOS 4901 for Rampage IV Extreme has been modified. Please download the new file. (file name is the same) but I assure you it is changed.

There is a new AsMedia sata rom with UBU. Your bios has 0.94 and the latest is v3.80. There is also a v0.97. Do you think it's a good idea to update?

Neither 0.97 or 3.80 are guaranteed to work with our board.. But I know that 0.94 works from personal experience. If you'd like to test one let me know.

Yesterday I started searching for a modded RIVE bios because every now and then I do a clean install or in this case, a clean windows 10 install and check for all the latest goodies. You saved me from the hassle of having to read and try Fernando's guide on how to mod a bios and all the trials and errors that follows.

Report recently result.

I'm able to use Intel 8 Series SATA AHCI Controller working with my Samsung SSD 850Pro 1TB without problem.

but howver the Intel Rapid Storage Technology app still say " this operation require reboot ". Now trying to install
Intel Rapid Storage Technology 14.6.1.1030 WHQL app. please advise.:o



Can not continue to install Intel RST 14.6.1.1030 WHQL app. How to solve this? Please advise.
