Bolts4brekfast,

Updated bios with your sandy bridge microcode modded 4901 and I can confirm that the black screen issue is fully resolved. Thanks a bunch bro!! I needed the 4901 as it had resolved some of my usb issues. You might want to kindly post two editions of R4E bios...one with modded sandy bridge microcode and one for ivy bridge 🙂
Can't thank you again for all the work that you do for us for free lol You truly are a great asset to these forums and we sure appreciate your time and effort in helping us out. I mean it!

Thanks!

Thanks for the kind words!

I took your advice and have posted separate sandy bridge and ivy bridge versions of 4901 for the RIVE.

Dear BOLTS4BREKFAST,

I have an Asus Rampage IV Extreme motherboard and CPU I7-4930K. Can I use the modded 4901 Bios with NVMe.
In that modded bios is there also the Ivy-Bridge microcode?

Thanks!

BOLTS4BREKFAST thank you very much, and I could use the 4901 bios on my extreme IV, I used the BIOS 4901 RIVE (SANDY BRIDGE EDITION), I use the cpu 3960X, and it finally works overclocking, a question that the difference between SANDY IVY BRIDGE and BRIDGE EDITION EDITION.

A greeting.

Due to the size of the updated Sandy Bridge and Ivy Bridge CPU Microcode update, they both won't fit in the BIOS. So have to do separate BIOS files one with each Microcode update.
