Are there any plans to update the firmware of this motherboard to patch the LogoFail exploit? Other boards have received updates, however this one has not.
2023/11/01 is the date of the last update for this board as of posting.
EDIT: 2024-03-22 (4805) update for the board still does not fix the LogoFail exploit.

I have the same motherboard and would also like to know if there will be a BIOS update. I also have a ROG Crosshair VIII Hero (WI-FI) which has not been updated yet.

ASUS response on another case :
...given the age of your product, we do not offer recent BIOS updates as this may render the motherboard inoperable in some cases..
they don't care.

Hello, @Tucson77
I have PM you earlier, but I have not yet received a response from you.
While I can't confirm what product you're currently using, I'd like to explain that laptops and handheld gaming consoles (ROG Ally) don't have the option to change the boot logo.
Therefore, they are not affected by the logofail security risk.
Concerning the motherboard, we require your serial number for additional verification purposes.
Therefore, please check and confirm the PM in the upper right corner.
Thank you.

Thank's for the reply. Publish an official communication on the Asus site regarding the LogoFAIL threat, instead in a forum. You update some bios, as you publish on your support site, so don't tell us there is no threat.
My computer is an X75V and you SHOULD provide us a protection against the threat. it is not light threat, and only you can do somethng.
Thank's

Hello, @Tucson77
For ASUS Consumer products, including consumer notebooks, gaming notebooks, and Ally, all of these product lines do not allow users to change the boot logo.
As a result, users do not need to worry about the potential security risks associated with this issue.
Nevertheless, even though the option to change the boot logo is not available, we are committed to optimizing and enhancing the mechanism to mitigate any potential risks associated with boot logo modifications.
Thank you.

Hello, @Gallium14
Thank you for your attention and feedback.
If you have concerns and have not yet purchased a motherboard, we recommend considering models with the logofail patch BIOS included, which was released on the ASUS official website, such as the LGA 1700 or AM5 series.
Thank you.
