Started using CCX OC in 3103, pretty awesome, I love it! Thanks @Shamino 🙂

Right now i have really slow speed my 970 Pro SSD. I can only reach 1500MB/s read , while before I could reach 2700MB/s read.
And yes according to Samsung Magician in running PCIE 3.0 x4.
I have flashed 3101 Bios. Can someone verify if its a problem other then bios?

Thanks, I will do some further troubleshooting to find the cause of the slow 970 Pro SSD.

A bit late to reply but did you install the driver from Samsung? It's under driver and software downloads for the 970 pro (further down the list):
NVMe Driver Version 3.3 (Mehrsprachig)
: Windows 7 / 8 / 8.1 / 10 (32bit, 64bit)
2020-06-11
4.72 Mb

I had the same on my board with 3004 BIOS:

I don't know, will have to check that. I have a 970 Evo Plus. Noticed the other day my Prime Pro rig was slow, it uses a 950 Pro. 1300MB/s read.

A little late, but now I got time to check my drive. It looks ok, a one year old 970 Evo Plus. Bios 3103.

Hello All,

I have been reading forums until I am cross-eyed. I want to make sure that the Samsung EVO 970 NVMe is running optimally. However, I cannot seem to find what the GEN 1, GEN 2 and GEN 3 settings are all about. Maybe a noob question, but is there a preferred set of settings in the C7H bios for the M.2_1 slot?

Regards, Dean.
