With "1usmus ryzen power plan" or "AMD Ryzen balanced power plan" my 3900X doesn't clock below 3717MHz with Bios 3004. If i activate "energy saving mode power plan" it clocks down. 😞

that's because the minimum processor state is set to 99% for the power plan, you can set it to lower number

well mine is not clocking higher then 3580-3650 mhz when all cores are in use. no matter what power plan i choose.
i am not overclocking my system but before cores are going as high as 4280mhz under full load.

but it would actually a surprise when ASUS incompetence would not mess up a BIOS. 😞

4200 seems normal for me full load. What are you using to load cpu? When I'm rendering big videos in DaVinci I get around the same. Didn't really notice any performance difference to be honest. My temps already were good

Still biggest gain is from optimizing ram timings.

According to your specs, you have a very low-end MoBo paired with high-end CPU. It might be limited by VRM, so no wonder that it doesn't boost. However, if you are in C7H thread, I'll assume that you have a C7H and just didn't change your specs utter update. In this case, it should boost properly, and there is two things that could be wrong:
1) Bad cooling
2) Bad BIOS settings.

If your cooling isn't good, you know what to do. Otherwise, try to reset your BIOS/ clear CMOS. I have 4200+ all cores at almost any real-world conditions.

is there a beta bios thats better then 3004? for the NOT wifi one vii hero x470 NOT wifi

Hi

I have 3900x with H115i (cpu pump on slow and fans at 800 rpm so even quieter than quiet profile) in R6 case along with2 sticks of 3200/14 ram and CH7 WiFi, newest bios 3004 and AMD chipset driver with Ryzen Balanced power plan.

Normally with 2901 bios i hit around ~3160 points in R15 which is preety normal. On 3004 bios i get around 3110 points which was expected reading last comments on reddit. On the positive side i think cpu temps are a bit lower.
According to CPU-Z/HW Monitor my cpu is idling at around 37 to 44 Celsius (98 to 111F), mostly at 3600Mhz (sometimes 3000) with spikes to 4500-4575 Mhz on 0,992-1.461v.
On 2901 i think i saw a bit higher temps and didnt saw lower frequency than 3800 but i didnt pay too much attention to it.

Just found a bug, changing VDDG doesn't do anything. It's stuck at 1.1V. All else seems to work though.

Higher VDDG means slightly higher temps, but stability should still be ok AFAIK.

edit. It was my mistake, I missed the VDDG IOD setting, it was on Auto. Changing it to 0.950 and everything is back to normal.

Will be need a bios update for the new Ryzen XT CPUs?

Just flashed 3101 and start to have a sound cracking like when you have unstable FCLK.
