yes, you can rename it manually like any other file. I have no idea why they even made that "renamer"

Exactly this above. There is no need for this tool, it only triggers confusion.

I wouldn't flash this BIOS anyway though, again lots of problems with it.. If i were you i would sell it and get Gigabyte man, much better support and BIOS quality.

Latest BIOS 2801 on a CH7 Wifi

Using a Ryzen 3800x with the memory kit below (link) I was able to get 4400Mhz on the memory.

Only quirks that I have found is that the UCLK resets to auto if the motherboard beeps on boot up and tWTRL wont go any higher than 14 even though the Ryzan DRAM Calculator wants you to set it to 16. I've also seen the Boost go up to 4.5 a few times.

Looks sweet man. I can "only" get 3466 MHz cl14 on my system lol. I tried 3600 MHz but i saw no benefit really.

What specific RAM are you running?

I linked the ram in the original post, its on NewEgg. I picked them because I looked over at a few other websites (Gigabyte, Asus and ASROCK) and looked at their RAM compatibility list for Matisse. This was the best price for performance option and was listed on the Gigabyte x570 compatibility list.

Was a shot in the dark but worked!

Only $149.99 for 16GB at 4400MHz and it works with the Ryzen 3xxx series.

Only issue with running 4400mhz ram is you cant run it 1:1 with the Infinity Fabric. I'm curious if you are seeing diminishing returns running it that fast with default IF frequency.
