I just built and AMD 7800X3D using the motherboard in the topic with 32 megs of 6000RAM. I am temporarily using my RTX 3060Ti.
When I boot, the lights cycle red, yellow, then the VGA light stays white. The boot LED at the bottom stays green, Despite doing research, I can't quite figure out what the problem is.
I know the white VGA LED means there is no GPU available. I know my video card works, it works in my old system, but this setup is not seeing it. What about the green boot LED, is it supposed to stay on after booting? And are the other lights supposed to cycle red to yellow, and then go off? If there is a CPU problem, will the CPU LED stay lit? Or, does it go off it there is not problem?
I did have some issues installing a cooler, I sent it back, I could not get it to go. My concern is I might have done some damage. I did go back and check all my connections, reseated the RAM, CPU, etc. Still the same results.
I am hoping everything is good, and there is just a GPU problem with this particular system. Can someone help me figure this out?
