I have an old Windows 10 computer with a HP monitor which didn’t meet Windows11 requirements, so using the HP Monitor I decided to upgrade the Motherboard, Processor, and Memory Modules. Here’s the list:
ASUS Prime B550M-A WiFi II AMD Micro ATX Motherboard with PCIe 4.0, WiFi 6, ECC Memory, HDMI 2.1, RGB Header
AMD Ryzen 5 5600GT 6-Core, 24-Thread Desktop Processor6 Cores and 12 processing threads, with advanced AMD Radeon graphics built-in 4.6 GHz Max Boost, unlocked for overclocking, DDR4 support
Team Group T-Force Vulcan Z TLZRD416G3200HC16CDC01 Memory Module 16 GB 2 X 8 GB DDR4 3200 MHZ
The install of the new hardware went great and I got my computer to boot up. Next I installed Windows 11 on it with no problems.
Everything works great except the HDMI connection. When I connect the HDMI cable from my computer to my TV I get no signal.
Any help would be appreciated.

I recently connected my ASUS laptop to an external monitor, but it’s not being detected. Here’s what’s happening:
The external display remains blank even though the HDMI/DisplayPort cable is properly plugged in.
The laptop detects that a second screen is connected but doesn’t display anything.
Updating display drivers didn’t resolve the issue.
The monitor works fine with other devices, so the issue seems to be with the laptop.
Tried changing the display settings (Extend/Duplicate modes), but no luck.
I had a similar issue when using an external monitor while accessing GetPoliceClearancePH , where certain elements wouldn’t scale properly. Could this be a software or hardware issue?

I solved my problem, it was the HDMI cable. I got a brand new cable now everything is OK.
Thank You.
