I am using an Asus ROG Strix B450 E Gaming motherboard, with BIOS version 2301 on a Ryzen 2600 everything was perfect.
Updated to 2406, issues start...with this bios I could not enter bios while using a wireless keyboard and mouse.
2501 patched this issue...ok, BUT on BOTH bios version 2406 and 2501 I am unable to login to Windows.
I power on, I boot into the Windows login screen, after a few seconds both my keyboard and mouse freeze.
I have tried every available USB port on the back of the motherboard and the USB ports on my case.
None work, as of now...my €3,000 PC is useless. I have bought a PS2 keyboard and mouse that I am going to try next.
NO...as of posting this message I have not tried PS2 or tried a USB keyboard and mouse using a USB to PS2 adapter.
That is next....but I should not have to go to these extremes.
Something as basic as a wireless keyboard and mouse should ALWAYS work.
Asus need to fix this or another customer will be lost to Gigabyte.
