Did I get lucky?!

With all the bad rep the CH6 is getting, I just wanted to post up that "knock on wood" I have had pretty much zero issues. All my RGB stuff works, I updated to 0902 with no issue, my temps are steady, and I don't have a DOA, or bricked board! And a picture for clicks!

I too have had zero hardware issues.

Had some minor issues with AI suite not installing correctly, and a little bummed out I can't figure out how to charge my phone when the computer is in sleep/off, its delivering power over the usb, as my phone makes a sound when I connect it, but not enough power to charge it. When the computer is running this works fine.
I have AI charger installed also.

But beside off that I've had zero issues.
Running stable 1800X at 4025MHz and RAM at 3200MHz, but I have not messed with the timings yet (Think its auto set at 16-16-16-39 or something 😛 ) UEFI 1001 if anyone is wondering.

Did we all jump on the Trident RGB bandwagon? haha

Did you try using various USB ports? Check your MB manual to identify which ports should be/can be used for charging when PC is in sleep/standby/off modes.
I'd like to deploy my troops in her country.

I just looked at the downloaded manual and the only mention of charge or charging is the USB 3_910 motherboard header. It doesn't say anything about power off charging.

Sorry for jumping on the OP's thread but I'm another one with a good experience - it came with 702, upgraded to 902 automatically and I then flashed to 1001 (IIRC).

Only niggle, the ram (2x8GB 3200Mhz Corsair Vengence LED) won't work at 3200 - currently allowing the board to set it (Auto setting) and getting 2133. I need to dig around for some good settings so not putting this on ASUS.

Only major issue (unrelated to this board) was after booting into Windows both hard drives (one a SSD) would go to 100% utilization within minutes and make the machine lock-up/become unresponsive - a clean install (I was initially lazy and took the boot drive from an Intel build so my own fault) fixed the issue.

Overall, I'm a very happy camper! Very impressed by Ryzen and ASUS and my benchmarks are already obscene - especially after overclocking the 1700 to 3800 on 1.35V. 🙂
