Im upgrading my current system with a new Motherboard, CPU and SSD and will keep everything else the same . I'm going to use a Ryzen 9 5900X and WD Black SN850X NVMe Gen4 2TB with heatsink from my current rig (see below) and cant decide witch motherboard to use. I know the Dark Hero is the better bet but i don't do over clocking. I do gamming and normal use. I just want to make sure i will get all the power out of the new CPU and SSD I am getting a new motherboard because the VI Hero does not support PCIe Gen4 its only Gen3. Any help would be great.

I'll take the X570-E unless you need more I/O on the back and you are planning to OC the CPU with the DOS feature, you will need a Custom Loop for it.
- CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D (SP97)
- Mobo : ASUS ROG Crosshair X670E Hero // Bios 1801 (AGESA Combo AM5 PI 1.0.8.0)
- GPU : AMD Radeon RX 6700XT (XFX SWFT 309) waiting for 7900XTX/RTX 4090 // Monitor : LG 27GR95QE-B OLED 240Hz
- RAM : 32GB (2*16GB) Corsair Dominator CMT32GX5M2X7800C36 Hynix A-Die @ 6400C28 GDM OFF @1.68V
- SSD : 1* Samsung 980 PRO 1Tb NVMe M.2 PCIe 4.0 x4 + 1* Samsung 870 EVO 2TB SATA + 1* Samsung 850 PRO 512GB SATA
- CPU cooler : Corsair H150i elite LCD (360mm)
- PSU : Corsair HX850i (OCP multi rail)

Thx for the input. Dumb question. What is the DOS feature?

Dynamic Overclock Switcher it's a dynamic switch between AMD PBO and OC mode to achieve better single thread (with PBO) and better multi thread (OC mode) overclock, for more info and how it works look here
